January 17, 2011: An Object of Beauty

PAGES READ: 35
YEAR TO DATE: 875
CURRENTLY READING: Netherland by Joseph O’Neill
BOOKS COMPLETED: 2
+25 PAGES

I loved this book. As I said earlier, it’s smart, funny and overall delightful. An insightful and entertaining look into the New York art scene. I’m not much for writing book reviews – I generally either like it or I don’t, end of review. I stumbled across this review which says everything I would like to say and a bit more. Thank you Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel!

Also, my stats-obsessed husband has suggested I add a +/- to my summary at the top of each page to show how I’m doing against my goal. As of today, I’m 25 pages ahead of schedule. This is good because things are about to slow down…
